Here's a roundup of some of my current and all time favorite foundations!
This is one of my favorite because it is a perfect medium-coverage foundation that evens skin tone and covers imperfections while still feeling and looking light on the skin. I have combination skin and I find this works one works best for me when I'm a little bit on the dryer side and want that nice natural finish and because I am combination I do still set it with a powder and it does last the 16 hours and looks gorgeous on the skin. This product also has hyaluronic acid which minimizes signs of aging, making fine lines and wrinkles less visible and it is cruelty free which we love.
Giorgio Luminous Silk Foundation
This product I have used for YEARS and is always a product I keep coming back to because it truly is one of the best of the best. This foundation was even recognized in Allure's Best of Beauty list in 2018...so it's objectively and universally awesome. A bit more about the formula, this is an oil-free foundation, and is also a medium coverage natural-finish foundation which looks beautiful on my skin all year long. While the name says luminous in it, I do find the finish to be more natural- so don't be afraid of it if you have oily skin! This lightweight foundation is also formulated with Micro-fit™ technology, allowing buildable color pigments for seamless blending and layering. There's nothing I can't stand more from a foundation when I want to add other liquid products on top and the foundation starts to break-up or look weird when I layer other products over it so that's another reason I love this one because it doesn't do that.
I have tried I think almost every foundation that NARS has made over the last 10 wish years (the tinted moisturizer, sheer glow foundation, natural radiant longer foundation, and soft matte foundation) and this one is my favorite (and the best In my opinion) liquid foundation product NARS makes. This product is innovative in the sense that it's a combo of makeup and skincare, with 70% of the ingredients being targeted specifically for your skincare needs - plus a Light Reflect complex for enhance luminosity! The advanced makeup-skincare-hybrid foundation provides a natural finish medium-coverage and visibly improves skin’s clarity over time. This product is also completely vegan and cruelty free and is suitable for ALL skin types - even sensitive skin!!!
This foundation allows you to achieve a flawless complexion on both the face and body. The lightweight, waterproof formula resists workout sessions, high temperatures, and humidity, while the pigments create a smooth and natural look. It ACTUALLY looks like REAL SKIN!!! It can also be used to camouflage minor imperfections on the neck, shoulders, legs, or anywhere else- which is GREAT for when your self-tan or spray gets all wacky and splotchy. This medium-coverage, natural-finish foundation is extremely buildable which I love- so I can wear just a little bit of the product on days I just want slight coverage, but also can build it up for when I want to do a full face of makeup. Free of sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, and triclocarban, and contains less than one percent of synthetic fragrances. This product is also vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten-free, and comes in recyclable packaging!!!
